Mechanical Hope is a painting that takes its strength from the ideology of Panamarenko’s ambitious flying objects. It showcases a moment of celebrating a mythical ritual around a sculpture that gives the power of reaching the sky. Or in a general sense, it gives the impression of that dream. By reflecting on this narration, it tries to communicate with its environment and audience as an urban object.
